the 525 JFW project
The 525th Joint Fighter Wing was started back in 2019 with founding members Fighter2018 and Waffles232, and has since grown to six members providing characters, stories, and art commissions. CXV has also provided many of the early 525th art pieces. A key detail of character selection was to focus on lost/lesser known pilots of the Second World War, hence the squadron's name "Unsung Witches".
Lore wise, the formation of the 525th, alongside its sister squad the 11th JCC, was done to combat the Neuroi occupation of Baltland. Primary objectives were to destroy the hive "George" in Oslo and others across the country. The JFW was officially formed in February 1943 and by 1945 consists of 9 witches, each with unique personalities, stories, and art.
